Muslim Aid deploys long-term development projects on education, skills training, to tackle the root causes of poverty.

Muslim Aid Micro Credit (GTE) Limited, a small scale Microfinance provider, more focused on Eastern parts of the country is looking for enthusiastic and qualified persons for the following positions;

Manager - Operations

Required Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor degree / higher diploma in the relevant field 

• Minimum 6 years experience in the field of Micro Finance 

• Having minimum 2 years experience, managing staff in the capacity of Branch Manager or Area Manager

• Sound Knowledge on Microfinance industry and practices 

• Passion on community development 

• Proficiency in Tamil and working knowledge in English, Sinhala would be an added advantage

• Sound knowledge of Islamic finance products would be an added advantage 

• Willingness to travel to the field extensively

The position is based in Head Office located in Nawala, Rajagiriya

Officer – Field Audit and Compliance

Required Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor Degree or Higher diploma in Accounting / Finance or Part Qualification in ICASL / CIMA / ACCA or any equivalent qualifications. 

• At least 3 years experience in Internal / External audit sector 

• Good knowledge of risk management, internal control system, audit technique and principles 

• Proficiency in TAMIL Language, Sinhala and English would be an added advantage Be able to work independently, with little or no direct supervision in an objective and honest manner 

• Passion on community development programmes 

• Willingness to travel to the field extensively

The position will be based in Head office located in Nawala, Rajagiriya and expected to travel branches located in Eastern parts of the country and conduct regular field audit and compliance audit.
