இந்த வாரத்தில் மட்டும் மூன்று குழந்தைகள் இந்த பரசிடமோல் ஓவர் டோஸினால் ஈரல் பாதிக்கப்படு சிகிச்சைகளுக்காக அடமிட்டாகியிருக்கின்றனர். ஆகவே பெற்றோர்கள் இது விடயத்தில் அதிக கவனம் எடுப்பது நல்லது
.
ஒரு வயதுக்குட்பட்ட சிசுக்களுக்கான பனடோல் சொட்டு் மருந்து (panadol drops) பல ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பின்னர் இப்பொழுது பாமசிகளில் கிடைக்க தொடங்கியுள்ளது.
பனடோல் சிரப்(panadol syrup), பனடோல் ட்ரொப் panadol drop)ஆகிய இரண்டும் வேறுபாடான செறிவு (dosage ) கொண்ட இரு வேறு மருந்துகள்.
அதாவது ,
சொட்டு மருந்து (Pnadol drop) முதலாவது படத்தில் உள்ள சிறிய போத்தல் 1mlல் 100mg ம் மருந்தினையும் (1Ml= 100 mg)
நாம்வழமையாக பாவிக்கின்ற பேபி பனடோல் சிரப் 1mlல் 24 mgமருந்தினையும் கொண்டுள்ளது. ( 1Ml= 24 mg)
*சிசுக்களுக்கான ட்ரொப் மருந்தானது வழமையான பனடோல் பாணியை விட 4 மடங்கு செறிவு கூடியது என்பதை கவனத்தில் கொள்க*.
உதாரணமாக, 3.75 ml சிரப் மருந்து தேவைப்படும் ஒரு 6kg குழந்தைக்கு (0.9 மில்லி)1 மில்லியை விட குறைவான அளவு ட்ரொப் மருந்து போதுமானதாகும்.
ஆகவே இந்த பனடோல் மருந்து வாங்கும் போதே உங்களது வைத்தியரிடம் அல்லது பாமசிஸ்ட்டிடம் இதன் சரியான டோஸ் அளவு பற்றி தெளிவாக அறிந்து கொள்ளுமாறு பெற்றோர்கள் வேண்டிக் கொள்ளப்படுகின்றனர். ஏனெனில் ஓவர் டோஸ் உயிராபத்தை ஏற்படுத்தக்கூடியது.
பெற்றோர்கள் இது விடயத்தில் சரியான அளவு "டோஸ்" வழிகாட்டுதல்களை பின்பற்றுமாறு வேண்டிக் கொள்ளப்படுகன்றனர்.

Please note that Panadol infant drops are back in stock in Sri Lanka after an absence of approximately 3 years. It is a welcome return as comparatively smaller quantities are required and therefore easier to administer to infants.
However, the dosage of the drops (100mg/1ml) should not be confused with that of the liquid syrup as it is more than 4 times the concentration of the children’s syrup (24mg/1ml).
This confusion and dosage errors led to its withdrawal from the market 3 years ago.
For example, a 6kg infant will require 0.9ml of the infant drops as compared to 3.75ml of the liquid syrup.
Please ensure the correct dosage guidelines are followed.
